Panjab University has released the date sheet for December 2019 semester examinations. As on this date, PUCHD date sheet 2019 are available for 1st 3rd 5th sem B.Com general, 3rd 5th sem B.Com hons, 1st 3rd 5th sem BCA, 1st 3rd 5th sem BBA, 1st sem BA / BSc general, 3rd sem BA / BSc general / hons, 5th sem BA / BSc general / hons.
Besides, the university has also released time tables for PG programs. This includes exam dates of MA, M.Sc, MPED, M.Com, MFC.
Other than getting the exam dates from the university or college notice boards, students can download PUCHD date sheet 2019 in pdf file format online, at puchd.ac.in. To do so one has to visit the website, click examination. On the examinations page one will find separate links for diploma / PG, postgraduate courses, practicals, professional courses, undergraduate courses.
Heading over to the concerned group of courses date sheet page students can select the course and semester time table required, view and download the same for future reference. The advantage of online time tables is easy reference at any point in time.
Exams in the varsity shall commence on December 2, 2019 for all programs. B.Com exams will conclude on December 24, 2019. Whereas for BCA students, they will end sooner on December 16, 2019. BBA exams will end in between the two, on December 21, 2019. BA / B.Sc exams will end on December 24, 2019 too.
In the most of the date sheets it is mentioned that candidates are not permitted to carry any communication equipment. The list includes mobile phone, pager, wireless set, scanner pen scanner, camera. No electronic or digital gadget shall be allowed inside the examination hall. Doing do is punishable with disqualification for period of two years with the subsequent examination.
Also, Panjab University says that if two examinations of a single candidate falls on the same date/time, then the candidate has to send his/her email along with admit cards of both classes regarding this issue to [email protected] by clearly mentioning in which paper he/she has to appear/left on the scheduled date. BA / B.Sc date sheet also informs that first of all, candidates can use coloured pencils for diagrams in science subjects. And secondly, candidates offering geography are permitted to use stencils or outline maps. These will be of a material on which nothing can be written such as celluloid, thin tin, transparent or opaque sheets of plasticine etc. Stencils cut in any type of paper or cardboard will, on no account be permitted.
As per recent reports the Panjab University is all set to get Rs 16 crore as additional grant from the University Grants Commission, MHRD for 2020-21 session. The varsity will get around Rs 247 crore grant from UGC, Rs 38 crore from the state government.
