National Thermal Power Corporation Limited is all set to conduct recruitment for the posts of Engineer and Assistant Chemist. NTPC has officially announced the available vacancies for the aforementioned posts on its official recruitment website. Under the current jobs section of the NTPC recruitment website i.e. ntpccareers.net, the Corporation has listed the latest recruitment process. The online application link for the recruitment is scheduled to be activated on and from July 14, 2020. Eligible candidates who aspire for employment with NTPC can apply online starting from July 15, 2020. The last date to apply for the recruitment is July 31, 2020.
As per the latest job openings available on the official NTPC website, a total of 250 vacancies for the post of experienced Engineers is available. Additionally, there are another 25 vacancies available for the post of Assistant Chemist. The vacancies for the post of Engineer are bifurcated across the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Instrumentation Engineering. It is expected that with the start of the application process, the Corporation can release the official detailed recruitment advertisement containing the complete details of the recruitment, including the detailed eligibility conditions, selection methods and other terms and conditions of the recruitment.
Candidates must have acquired an Engineering degree in a relevant discipline i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering to apply for the post of Engineer. In addition, it is mandatory for such candidates to have a minimum of 3 years of experience acquired after completing the qualifying examination. Similarly, to apply for the post of Assistant Chemist, a relevant degree in Chemistry is required. Candidates applying for this post are also required to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field. The experience must have been obtained after the qualifying degree. After the completion of the selection process, shortlisted candidates are to be appointed at different levels of pay. Engineers are to be appointed at E2 level in the pay scale of Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,60,000. On the other hand, candidates who are appointed to the post of Assistant Chemist are placed at the E1 level in the pay scale of Rs 40,000 to 1,40,000.
