National Law University (NLU) Delhi has today, January 08, 2022, released a notification announcing the release date for AILET 2022 application form. The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2022 application form is all set to release on January 17, 2022. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the entrance test through the online mode, on the official website nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Candidates can also expect the information brochure on the same day itself. Only after the brochure releases will the AILET 2022 schedule become clear, specifying more details about the exam schedule.
NLU Delhi AILET 2022 Exam Date
As of now, candidates have very limited information about the national-level entrance examination. To begin with, AILET 2022 is scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 01, 2022. It will be held for a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes i.e., from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The exam is the gateway for admission to UG and PG law courses that include 5-year integrated BA LLB course, LLM as well as PhD programmes.
NLU Delhi AILET 2022 Application Form
Th initial public notice issued by NLU, Delhi, had specified that the AILET 2022 application form will release in the first week of January 2022. The official admission notice and online application form would release in the first week. Evidently however, there is a delay in the release of application form. So, instead of the first week, the application form will release in the third week of January 2022 – January 17, 2022, to be precise.
Another important thing to note is that the AILET 2022 application form will release on the portal nationallawuniversitydelhi.in instead of nludelhi.ac.in. However, the former is currently under maintenance and is expected to open on the day of application form release. So, candidates are advised to visit this portal frequently for any updates in this regard. Moreover, since the application process will take place entirely through the online mode, no candidate is expected to submit the form in-person or via mail.
Looking at the previous AILET session, the online application process was conducted from January 23 to June 25, 2021. Following which, the exam was held on July 30, 2021. If a similar schedule is supposed to follow this year, the online application process will continue till April 2022, giving candidates ample time to apply for the entrance exam. Hence, they do not have to worry about any time constraints regarding the application process.
NLU Delhi conducts the AILET examination every year for candidates who wish to pursue a career in Law. This exam acts as an entry ticket to UG, PG and PhD courses in the law field. Being a national-level exam, the competition is tough and requires a year’s worth of rigorous preparation to secure a top rank.
