National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow. The recruitment is to shortlist candidates for CSIR funded project with the title “Solution Techniques To Unit Commitment Problems in Power System Integrated With Renewable Energy Sources”. Only 01 vacancies are advertised to Senior Research Fellow post. Candidates who are eligible as per the eligibility criteria can submit their applications before August 03, 2020, up to 05:00 PM. Aspirants who are shortlisted as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) are recruited for a short period of time. Candidates are appointed for a period of 01 years which is extendable up to the completion of the project. The project is organized for 36 months i.e. 03 years as SRF from the date of commencement of the project. During their service, they receive Rs. 35,000 as per month salary. In addition, they also get HRA as per the CSIR guidelines.
Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering are eligible for the announced post. They must have secured a minimum of 6.5 CGPI on 10 point scale or 60% marks in their Bachelor and Master degree. Candidates also must have qualified GATE examination before applying for this post.
Along with the educational allocation, aspirants also have to make sure that they fulfil the age limit prescribed by the conducting body. Candidates should have completed 32 years as on August 03, 2020, or last date of the form submission.
