NIOS Hall Ticket 2018: Candidates Facing Difficulty in Downloading the Admit Card

The National Institute of Open Schooling has released the hall ticket for the candidates of secondary as well as for the senior secondary students. So, the candidates who are going to appear in the October session exams can now download it. For the practical exams, the hall ticket was published on September 19, 2018, while the students got the admit card for the theory exams from September 24, 2018.

Now, those candidates who had not downloaded the NIOS Hall Ticket 2018 for the practical exams are facing trouble. Those aspirants are unable to get the admit card now. It may possible that NIOS has removed the link to download the admit card for the practical exams. But the option to get the hall ticket of the practical exams is still available.

When the board had published the hall ticket first, it provided the two options in the hall ticket type such as for the practical exams as well as for the theory exams. But soon it removed the hall ticket of the theory option as it was not activated. On September 24, 2018, NIOS again provided the option of the theory exams hall ticket but this time it also activated the link to download it. However, the option of the practical exams’ hall ticket is still available but is not activated. These are the reasons why the students are facing the problems in downloading the hall ticket.

The practical exams have been started for class 10 and class 12. But some students who had not downloaded the hall ticket yet are facing the issues.

According to NIOS Date Sheet 2018, the theory exams for class 10 will begin from October 08, 2018 for the Indian students while for the overseas students who are willing to give the exams for class 10 will begin from October 09, 2018. For class 12, the exams will be held from October 06, 2018 for both the Indian and the overseas students.

It is mandatory for the students to carry the hall ticket while going for the board exams. Along with the admit card, the students will have to also carry one photo identity proof such as Aadhar Card/ Passport/ PAN Card etc. Otherwise, the candidates will not be allowed to sit in the exams. So, the candidates who are facing issues in downloading the admit card should contact the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
