National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has today, March 08, 2022, released the official notice announcing the result date for entrance exam. The notice has been published on the institute’s official website nift.ac.in. Accordingly, results will be announced tomorrow, March 09, 2022. The result link for both UG and PG programmes will be activated on the official website. Individual scorecard will be issued to each candidate which will mention his/her performance in the written exam along with shortlisting status. Those who qualify the NIFT 2022 written exam will be eligible for the subsequent rounds.
For both UG and PG programmes, NIFT conducts a 2-stage selection process. This process includes – 1. Entrance Exam, 2. Situation Test (only for B.Des.) or 2. Group Discussion or Personal Interview round (for MFM, M.Des., MFT). Candidates need to qualify each stage to be eligible for the next step.
NIFT 2022 Result Date
The official notice issued by NIFT states the following –
Result of Entrance Exam for UG and PG programme will be declared on 09th March, 2022. The link of result will be available at NIFT website http://www.nift.ac.in.
NIFT authorities have not specified an exact time for result announcement. So, candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website frequently tomorrow, to access the result link.
Register for NIFT 2022 Situation Test
Candidates who qualify the NIFT 2022 entrance exam will have to appear for the situation test, in case they are applying for B.Des. programme. This testis scheduled to be organised from April 02 to 05, 2022, at various NIFT campuses across the country.
Shortlisted candidates need to log-in to the NIFT admission portal i.e., niftadmissions.in and fill-in their choices for the situation test. Candidates will have to provide their choices in the order of priority, on or before March 11, 2022. Following this, admit cards to registered aspirants will be issued on March 16, 2022.
Group Discussion & Personal Interview Round from April 07
In case of PG courses such as M.Des, MFM or MFT, shortlisted candidates have to appear for the Group Discussion or Personal Interview round. This stage is scheduled from April 07 to 26, 2022, at the Indian Social Institute (ISI), Lodha Road, New Delhi.
To attend this stage, shortlisted candidates have to upload all the required documents on the NIFT admission portal. An annexure specifying the list of documents has been specified in the annexure attached to the public notice.
