Neyveli Lignite Corporation India Limited is looking for eligible candidates for the post of Apprentice in various departments. A total of 675 vacancies are out for the said posts. Application procedure for these posts starts from September 11, 2020. Eligible applicants are advised to submit their forms before September 20, 2020. The posts that are advertised are of Fitter, Turner, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Electrician, Wiremen, Mechanic (Diesel), Mechanic (Tractor), Carpenter, Plumber, Stenographer, Welder, PASAA, Accountant, Data Entry Operator and Assistant (HR). The recruitment to these apprentice posts is for a short period of 12 months (01 years) only. During the employment tenure, the candidates receive the monthly salary of Rs. 12,524/- as Accountant, Data Entry Operator and Assistant (HR), Rs.8766/- for PASAA and Rs. 10,019/- for the rest of the posts.
Candidates need to fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria to apply for the apprentice posts. Those who wish to apply for Accountant post should have passed B. Com degree exam. To apply for Data Entry Operator, candidates should have B.Sc (Comp Science)/ BCA degree. A BBA degree is required from those who are applying for Assistant (HR) post. To apply for the remaining apprentice post, aspirants must have ITI (NCVT/ DGET) & COPA for PASAA Trade. As per the notification, candidates must attain the minimum age of 14 years as on October 01, 2020. Only those who belong to State of Tamil Nadu and UT Pondicherry are eligible to apply.
The application procedure for NLC recruitment is conducted via online mode. Eligible applicants have to browse the official website, nlcindia.com, to get the online application form link. Once done with the form submission, take a clear print out of the filled application and submit it to Deputy General Manager, Learning and Development Center, NLC India, Circle-20, Neyveli-607803. Enclose caste certificate, education certificate, relevant documents in support of Ex-serviceman category claim, and other as specified. The last date to submit the hard copy of the application form is September 25, 2020.
Based on the eligibility marks in the application form, applicants are invited for the Documents verification round. The list of eligible candidates who are shortlisted for DV round can check the list from the official website, nlcindia.com, on October 01, 2020. Applicants have to appear for the DV round from October 05, 2020, to October 09, 2020. The final list of selected candidates for the training will be published on the website on October 24, 2020.
