The University of Mumbai has started its online admission process from today. The sale of online admission forms as well as the pre-admission enrollment via mum.digitaluniversity.ac will continue till 1 PM of August 14, 2021. However, the submission of online admission forms along with the mandatory pre-enrollment forms will start tomorrow, i.e. August 06, 2021 and continue till August 14, 2021.
It is essential that the applicants keep both the hard and soft copies of their Aadhar card, PAN card, Class 10 (SSC) marksheet, Class 12 (HSC) marksheet), diploma marksheet, degree marksheets and other applicable documents ready before starting the application process.
Students who are taking admission for the first time in Mumbai University and do not have a Permanent Registration Number (PRN), must first complete their registration process. To do so, they have to visit mumoa.digitaluniversity.ac and click on the link for Pre Admission Online Registration 2021-22. After that, the applicant has to click on the ‘Register’ button which will take them to a new window. Then, they have to enter their personal details like name, parent’s name, date of birth, gender, mobile number and email ID. Upon clicking on the ‘Accept’ button, a student agreement will appear which they must agree in order to proceed.
The candidates will receive an SMS and email consisting of the username and password. Now, they have to enter the username and password and click on the verify button. Candidates can then set a new password of their choice and note it down. Now, they have to log in using the username and the newly-set password. As per the instructions, students must submit the declaration form in any one of the colleges in order to confirm their admission. Hence, the colleges must also provide provisional admission and confirm their studentship after they submit the necessary documents.
Candidates must note that the first merit list will be released on August 17, 2021 at 11 AM. After that, online verification of documents along with fee payment will start from August 18, 2021 and continue till 3 PM of August 25, 2021. Likewise, the second merit list will be released at 7 PM on August 25, 2021 while the online document verification and fee payment will start from August 26, 2021 and continue till 3 PM of August 30, 2021. Similarly, the third merit list is scheduled to be released at 7 PM on August 30, 2021. This will be followed by the online document verification and fee payment, both of which will start from September 01, 2021 and continue till September 04, 2021.
