Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released the MPSC preliminary exam timetable 2022 on the official website, mpsc.gov.in. As per the MPSC timetable, the preliminary exam is going to be held on January 02, 2022.
Same way, the MPSC 2022 mains exam is going to be held from May 07 to May 09, 2022. The commission has released around 290 vacancies for different posts i.e. Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner of State, Group Development Officer etc.
The candidates who wish to work with the commission at any post can fill the MPSC 2022 application form from October 05 to October 25, 2021. The basic eligibility to apply for the various different posts notified by the commission is having completed a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university.
The age limit for the candidates willing to apply for the MPSC 2022 exam will be applicable as per the decision of the commission. The maximum limit for a General category candidate is a maximum of 6 attempts. While the OBC candidate can appear for the MPSC exam only 9 times in life. However, the candidates who belong to SC/ST category can appear for the examination as long as they fulfil the age limit criteria.
As per the selection process of MPSC 2022, there will be three rounds in the selection process, preliminary exam, mains exam and interview round. The preliminary exam is going to be held for 400 marks. While the mains examination will be held for 800 marks. Same way, the last round i.e. interview will be held for 100 marks. The final merit list for the MPSC exam is going to be prepared by considering the marks of the mains and interview round.
The candidates who clear the MPSC 2022 exam will be subjected to receive emoluments as per the pay scale of Group B and Group C in the revised pattern.
