MBA CET Result 2021 Delayed

As per the latest updates, candidates awaiting the MBA CET result 2021 might see a delay in its declaration. Yesterday a group of 35 students moved to Bombay High Court seeking a stay on the release of the result. The petitioner in their appeal said that they have received incorrect question papers in the exam. As a result, their whole performance has been hampered in a negative way.

Although the first hearing was scheduled yesterday, no fresh update has been released by the petitioners, or the court or the DTE. However, as per the official website of Bombay HC, the next hearing is scheduled for December 13, 2021. This huge gap between the two hearings is the festive season which is going to kickstart in the first week of November 2021. However, in their notice, the Honourable court also mentioned that if the conducting body DTE wants then it might release the result for the candidates other than the petitioners.

This unprecedented move has caused a lot of panic amongst the students who are already stressed as the results are already delayed. Now, it is completely dependent on the decision of DTE whether to release the result or not. Nevertheless, several media houses reported that Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell had placed a request before the court to expedite the hearing date.

The rumours of releasing the MBA CET 2021 was fuelled a few days back when a meeting was held between Uday Samant, Minister of Education, Maharashtra with Sharad Pawar and various stakeholders. However, there were only rumours and the result or the point of discussion for this meeting remains unknown.

MAH MBA CET 2021 is a Maharashtra based management entrance test conducted annually by the DTE (Directorate of Technical Education), Maharashtra. Once the result for MBA CET is released, candidates who clear the minimum cut off marks shall be called to register for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The candidates are assigned colleges on the basis of their rank scored in the MBA CET exam, college preference, and seat availability.

MBA CET exam 2021 was held from September 16 to 18, 2021, the result that was supposed to be released on September 27, 2021, is still awaited. Around 1,32,190 candidates participated in the MBA CET 2021 exam with the idea of taking admission in MBA and PGDM courses offered by the top 12 MBA colleges based in Maharashtra.
