State CET Cell has finally declared the MAH MBA/MMS CET 2021 result. While MBA aspirants are relieved to finally get their scores, the only bone of contention is that at this moment, only percentile is available. Candidates are yet to be informed of their score and rank.
Ever since the MBA CET result got announced, candidates have been rushing to find out about marks vs percentile data. Besides, aspirants are also looking for good tools and apps to convert their percentile to score and rank. While there is no fool-proof app or tool for this, what is available is past year data.
Even before today’s announcements, MBA experts had compiled the data of past years MBA CET marks vs percentile and presented the same in their lectures. Some of them are easily available on youtube and other platforms. Those compilations present the following past years MBA CET result marks vs percentile data. And based on the same, extrapolation on what can be expected this time is given below.

The above table tells three things –
- What was the marks against each percentile in the year 2019
- What was the marks against each percentile in the year 2020
- What is the possible score range against each percentile this year.
Now it may be noted that percentile of each candidate depends steadfastly on the following – Total number of candidates who appeared in the exam, the exact marks of the candidate, and the number of candidates who got marks less than the candidate. The percentile score is the total number of candidates who got less marks than the candidate, divided by the total number of test takers, multiplied by hundred.
This data in turn depends on how easy or hard the exam was, the overall quality of students who took the test, data peaks at certain marks ranges.
Therefore, the MBA CET 2021 marks vs percentile predictions may either be very accurate, or be vastly different – depending on how different the above two factors were this year as compared to past years.
