The tentative dates for MBA / MMS CET 2019 have been announced for the academic session 2019-20. The Examination will be held on March 9 & 10, 2019. MBA CET 2019 will be conducted in the online mode only. It has been observed that the tentative date schedule is the final schedule only. However, the Competent Authority has the rights to change the dates at the time of emergency or at the time of some crucial event like Parliament Elections etc.

The Registration process for MBA CET will commence from the third week of January 2019. Expectedly on January 21, 2019 and will until for one month until February 2019. In order to register for MBA CET, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities with minimum 50% aggregate (For SC/ ST 45%). Candidates can register on http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in and enter the details like name, e-mail id, contact details in order to generate the prvisional registration number and password.
For the candidates belonging to Maharashtra (Open Category), Outside Maharashtra State and J&K Migrant, the expected Application Fee is Rs 1000. For candidates belonging to Backward Class Categories, Persons with Disability Candidates (Maharashtra candidates only), the Application Fee of Rs 800 may apply. Candidates can pay the Application Fee via Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / IMPS / Cash Cards / Mobile Wallets.
MBA / MMS CET 2019 is a Computer-Based Test. The question paper will be in English medium. The duration of the examination will be 150 minutes. Each question will carry 1 mark and there is no negative marking. The nature of the questions will be Multiple Choice and will have 5 choices per question. There will be questions from topics like Abstract Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability / Reading Comprehension.

The two most noteworthy things to crack MBA CET 2019 Examination is time – management and by practicing mock – tests. Candidates will have to jot down which section they will attempt first and what section they will attempt last. As practice makes the man perfect, by practicing mock tests, candidates will get to know about their weak areas and strong areas and then they can work on them.
In order to take admission in the institutes who accepts MBA CET scores, candidates will have to follow a set selection procedure. As a first step, candidates will have to first fill the Online Application Form and then will have to download the Admit Card / Hall Ticket for MBA CET 2019. After downloading the Hall Ticket, candidates shall have to appear for MBA CET 2019. Then, candidates will have to check their results. After the declaration of the results, candidates will have to appear for counseling for the allocation of seats.
The CET Cell of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts MHT CET for various graduate and postgraduate programmes. In order to take admission in the MBA & MMS Programmes, candidates will have to appear in MBA CET 2019. There are more than 300 colleges in Maharashtra who accept MBA CET scores. Candidates must note that there is a difference between MBA CET and CAT which is that MBA CET is conducted for admission in the colleges of Maharashtra only where Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted across India. The major difference is that those who will give MBA CET will get admission in the state colleges by qualifying the exam by scoring minimum cut off whereas by giving CAT, candidates can get admission in all the colleges and institutes who offers MBA and accept CAT scores. However, candidates can take part in the counseling process using the CAT exam scores.
