The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology has released the new exam date for conducting the MAKAUT CET 2022. The candidates who have earlier applied for the UG and PG courses can check the new exam date. Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be held on June 30, 2022. Now, the university has notified that this year, the examination will be conducted on July 05, 2022. The admit card for the MAKAUT exam have been released on June 27, 2022 on the official website of the university, makautwb.ac.in.
MAKAUT CET 2022 Exam Date
MAKAUT Common Entrance Test (CET) was scheduled to be held on June 30, 2022. Adhering to th timeline, the university has also released the admit card on the designated date. However, citing the celebration of a tribal festival Hul Diwas and the clashing of the exam dates on June 30, 2022, the exam has to be postponed. The university has decided to postpone the exam by five days. As of now, no information is available if there will be changes in the admit card released earlier as well. MAKAUT CET is all set to be conducted on July 05, 2022, for both UG and PG courses. The UG course exam shall commence from 3 PM to 4 PM and the PG course will be held from 5 PM to 6 PM.
The exam for UG courses is going to be held in the CBT mode with 50 questions from General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, English and Numerical Ability. The maximum number of marks assigned to the exam is 100 and the duration for the same is going to be 60 minutes. Same way, the PG exam shall also be held for a similar duration but will have 50 questions from General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, English, and Mathematics or Biology or Chemistry.
MAKAUT examination is a state-based exam conducted by the university for offering admission to UG courses like B.SC, BBA, B.Com etc. At present, the university is offering admission to 75 courses in the UG domain and 4 courses in the PG domain.
