Madras Fertilizers Limited, Chennai is a public sector undertaking company in India under the administrative control of the Dept. of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. It has announced job vacancies for the post of Manager (Instrumentation), Deputy Manager (Liason Officer), and Junior Fireman grade 2. Age limit for these posts is respectively between 36-45 years of age, 30-40 years of age, and 25-30 years of age.
The registration process has already started and the same will be wrapped up at 5 pm of August 16, 2019. The deadline to submit the printed copy of the application form with attachments is August 23, 2019. Candidates have to attach self-attested copies of age proof, educational qualification certificates, experience certificates, disability certificates, discharge certificate in case of ex-Servicemen, latest pay slip copy, and self-certified translated copy of SC / ST / OBC / EWS certificate. To fill the online application form, candidates need to go to madrasfert.co.in and click on Recruit 2019 (II) and then open the notification. The notification contains link to apply online that leads to the web page madflizer2.azurewebsites.net. The application fee is Rs 500 for manager, deputy manager posts. It is Rs 250 for junior fireman post. SC, ST, PWD, Ex-S are exempt from fee.
For the post of manager and deputy manager, candidates will have to undergo an interview round. Whereas for the post of junior fireman, there will be a written examination followed by a skill test. The shortlisted candidates will be posted in Chennai except for liaison officer who will be placed in Delhi, but they will be required to work anywhere in India. At the time of interview and skill test, one should produce all the original documents, failing which the candidature will get cancelled.
Manager post is open for first class BE/B.Tech degree holders in any of the streams namely instrumentation engineering, electronics and instrumentation, instrumentation and control, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics. Deputy Manager post is for those who have a first class PG degree or MBA.
Jr Fireman post at Madras Fertilizers Limited requires one to have passed SSLC (class 10). In addition, applicant should have completed fireman’s certificate course from NFSC, Nagpur or state or central government fire service institute of at least 6 months duration. Ex-Servicemen who have undergone training in basic fire fighting and operation of fire tenders with a certificate from defence service are also eligible.
