Lovely Professional University (LPU) recently announced the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) 2021 dates. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from February 27 to March 6, 2021. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the same on the official website of the conducting body i.e., nest.lpu. in Registration process is scheduled to begin from the first week of January 2021.
LPUNEST 2021 is scheduled to be conducted from February 27 to Match 6, 2021. Application process for the same shall begin from January first week, 2021 and the last date to register for the exam is February 26, 2021. Eligible candidates can begin to book their slot for online examination (eligibility and scholarship) from February 1, 2021. Authorities shall announce the results of the entrance exam on March 6, 2021. Subsequently, online counselling and seat allocation shall be conducted on April 5, 2021. Candidates are advised to not wait till the last minute to fill the application form or to book their slot for examination as it is a first-come-first-basis.
University authorities have provided two modes for filling the application form – online and offline mode. Candidates applying for the exam through the online mode can access the application form on the official website of the conducting body i.e., nest.lpu. in. They must fill-in the necessary details in the application form. After this, they must deposit the application form fee and apply for LPUNEST examination.
Male candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000 for the application form and soft copy of LPUNEST kit while female candidates have to pay Rs. 500. However, candidates availing the printed copy of the LPUNEST kit have to pay Rs. 500 extra along with the existing charges. Candidates are also required to book a slot for the examination as per their convenient date and time. The candidates must also take a printout of the submitted application for their reference.
Candidates filling the form through the offline mode may obtain the form from the university office by giving the required application fee. Male candidates are required to pay Rs. 1500 while female candidates have to pay Rs. 1000 for the application form and the printed LPUNEST kit. They must fill this application form and send it to the university through a self-attested envelope.
Candidates can also fill the registration form through the semi-online mode. In this format, the student may purchase the application form from the university office and fill it as per the instructions. They are instructed to select ‘Yes’ if they have purchased the LPUNEST kit. After this, they must fill the OMR Sheet Number and Unique OMR code in the allotted space. They have to submit the application form and save the copy for future use.
Authorities have also specified the eligibility criteria to apply for LPUNEST for the B.Tech programme. Firstly, only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST 2021. Applicants must have either passed the Class 12 CBSE board examination (or equivalent board) or shall be appearing for the same in 2020. They must also acquire a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and English. A 5% relaxation shall be given to candidates of North Eastern states and Sikkim, dependent of Defence Personnel and wards of Kashmiri migrants.
