Kerala state board has successfully conducted the class 10 and 12 board exams from April 8 to April 26 amid the COVID-19 outbreak. The board conducted the examinations under the strict COVID-19 guidelines. The valuation of answer scripts was going to start from May 5 onwards however due to the lockdown, the process has been delayed. The announcement for the delay in the valuation process was made by the Kerala General Department, who further added that the revised dates will be announced later after reviewing the pandemic situation in the state.
Moreover, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at his routine online address has notified the SSLC (class 10) students that the IT practical exam has been canceled. As per the original schedule, IT practicals were scheduled to begin on May 5, which was then postponed by the general education department and now canceled. Now, that the IT practical exam is canceled, the marks will be calculated on the basis of the average marks each student has scored in the practical examinations earlier.
Earlier, the Kerala government also postponed the class 12 practical examinations. However, the state government has now announced that the higher secondary and vocational higher secondary practical examinations would now be held from June 21 to July 7.
The CM further said that the answer book valuation SSLC examination would be held from June 7 to June 25 and the valuation of higher secondary and vocational higher secondary papers would be from June 1 to 19.
Considering all this, it seems that Kerala SSLC result 2021 shall be announced in the month of July. However, Kerala class 12 board exam results shall be delayed as some media reported suggested that the results were expected to be declared by the end of May 2021. The delay in the publication of Kerala board exam results 2021 is due to the revised dates for the valuation of answer sheets.
