JJ College of Arts and Science has reportedly announced results today, at jjc.kvet.in. However the website has crashed and thus students and everyone else are unable to access the same to check the announcement.
Yesterday the college situated in Pudukkottai had announced that semester exam results would be published on November 30, 2019, at 11 am. A countdown to the promised time was also started on the results page. Soon after, the server crashed when all the students rushed to see the news.
Waiting eagerly for JJC result, students are still continuously trying to access the website, causing further load to it and it seems like the issue will remain for some time; similar situations have arisen in the past as well. However the technical issue is expected to be resolved soon and then students will be able to check their results.
As soon as the page is back online, students can go to jjc.kvet.in/result_page.php to get their results. However there is one more step to that, that is to login. Checking JJC results require login with registration number and date of birth, or at least so it was until the last results.
Semester results indicate the subject wise marks obtained, grade or equivalent scoring, and overall pass and fail status. This not only plays a critical role in deciding whether one is promoted to the next semester or not, but when it comes to career prospects too, semester results get some weightage. Nevertheless marks are not everything, and it depends from role to role and company to company how much importance they give to a students’ graduation marks.
As regards to the processes that follow results, such as revaluation, rechecking, students should contact the college authorities and carry out the standard procedure expected of them for such steps. Evaluation of marks, grading, and other details given in the report card will be as per standard norms of the college.
The various departments in JJ College are the departments of tamil, english, chemistry, physics, industrial electronics, visual communication, biotechnology, botany, microbiology, biochemistry, computer science, computer applications, information technology, hotel management, mathematics, commerce, management. Besides there are some other departments as well.
JJC offers 15 under graduate, 18 post graduate, 16 research, and 2 post graduate diploma courses. In the year 2003, NAAC or the National Assessment and Accreditation Council had awarded B++ grade to the college, and in 2009, it was reaccredited with grade A, then again it 2015, it got grade A. In 2012, JJ College of Arts and Commerce got autonomous status by the University Grants Commission and Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.
Upon getting autonomy, the college compiled its new syllabus and implemented the same. The syllabus in effect at JJC is available at jjc.kvet.in, under syllabi section, for part 1, part 2, UG courses, PG courses, diploma courses.
