Jawaharlal Institue of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research has released an official notification for the recruitment of Senior Resident under the Departments of Anesthesiology, General Surgery, Neonatology, Pathology, Pulmonary Medicine and Radio- Diagnosis. As per the notification, there are total of 13 vacancies. Aspirants interested in the recruitment can download the official notification from the official website, main.jipmer.edu.in. Applications for the said post must be submitted by September 14, 2020. An interview round will be conducted on September 16, 2020.
As per the notification, the post is Senior Resident is not on a regular basis. Candidates are recruited under this post on contractual basis. The appointment for this post is for an initial period of 89 days which may get extended up to a maximum of 06 months. The newly appointed Senior Residents have to render their service under the optimal patient care services for COVID-19 scenarios and emergency duty.
To apply for the aforementioned posts, candidates must possess a postgraduate medical degree (MD/ MS/ DNB) in respective discipline. Those who have 02 years recognized post-graduation Diploma after MBBS can also apply for the said posts. Their maximum age must not exceed that of 45 years as on September 14, 2020. Application procedure for JIPMER Senior Resident recruitment 2020 is organized through online mode. Eligible candidates have to log on to the home page of JIPMER website, jipmer.edu.in and click on the apply online link to the post of Senior Resident at JIPMER, Puducherry. Those who have downloaded the notification can copy-paste the link given in the notification and fill-up the form. General, OBC and EWS category candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- and SC/ ST candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- as the application fee.
While submitting the form, candidates also need to upload certain documents. These documents are as follows – birth certificate, candidate’s photo, MBBS degree, registration certificate, internship certificate, MD /MS/DNB degree certificate and registration certificate, bio-data, OBC (NCL) certificate, declaration of OBC, Caste certificate, EWS certificate, No Objection Certificate (if applicable) and other as asked.
