JEE Main 2019 Jan Exam is going to be held across approximately 258 exam centres. For the January exam, more than 9 lakh candidates have applied. National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the exam for the very first time in 2019 and in online mode only. JEE Main will be conducted first in the month of January 2019 and then again in the month of April 2019.

As of now, the exam dates for JEE Main 2019 January exam known are January 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2019. NTA is releasing the admit card for the JEE Main 2019 Jan exam from December 17, 2018, onwards for all the candidates who have registered for the JEE Main 2019 exam.

Now, since for the exam less than 1 month is left, to be exact, 24 days are left, candidates are advised to modify their preparation strategies. The competition in JEE Main exam is humungous. No doubt a national level examination with approximately 9.65 lakh participants calls for special preparation strategies at each stage.

JEE Main 2019 Admit Card

Now that only 24 days are left for the D-Day, here is what the preparations should be focussed on as per the experts – (a) Preparing your own handwritten short notes (b) Revising the notes in a strategic manner (c) Practising questions from per topic every day (d) Practising online mock tests.

Candidates can also follow a day wise schedule, where they can divide the above 4 tasks on these days. The strategy can go like this that you pick 7 to 9 topics for the first 5 days. Revise these chapters and make handwritten notes of the important points. Also, practice at least 10 questions per topic every day.

After the 5 day schedule, you can focus on revising every topic that you have revised in these 5 days in a go. In the next 5 days repeat the same thing. You can repeat this process until you have revised all the chapters. However, it is must that from the 15th day onwards you start with the JEE Main 2019 Mock Tests.

You can thus use the last few days of your JEE Main 2019 preparations to the best of your capability. This way you will be able to revise all the chapters, make notes, and practice questions from all the topics.

JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 exam will be held in 2 shifts at various days between January 06 – 20, 2019. However the JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 will be held in 2 shifts but on January 08, 2019 only. The 2 shifts in which the JEE Main 2019 exam will be conducted are 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
