The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the window for JEE Main 2019 Application Form Window from October 08, 2018 onwards. The last date to edit details in the JEE Main 2019 Application Form is October 14, 2018. The exam conducting body is giving this one time opportunity to the students to edit/ modify the details in the application form.
As per the notification published by NTA regarding the form correction window, the candidates can edit any detail in the JEE Main Application Form 2019, except for the change in the test center. To edit details in the JEE Main 2019 form, you need to visit the official website of NTA. Then on the homepage, click on the link which says “Login for Correction in Application Form”. Next, you need to log in by entering details such as Application Number and Password. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details and start editing the form.
Also, NTA has specified on the website that the photograph uploaded by the candidates without Name and Date are accepted.
The candidates will also have to pay an additional fee for correction, wherever applicable. The fee to be paid for JEE Main 2019 Form correction is not specified by the exam conducting body as it may differ from candidate to candidate. However, it is mentioned that the additional fee (if applicable) should be paid by the candidates through Credit/ Debit card/ Net banking & UPI only.
There are certain things which candidates have to keep in mind while making changes in their JEE Main 2019 Application Form. It should be very clear to the candidates that they can not make any changes in the choice of exam cities or in the photograph and signature uploaded by them. The rectification can take place only for certain particulars only. The exam center once chosen by the candidate at the time of filling the JEE Main 2019 Application Form will be final and cannot be changed.
The things which can be changed in the JEE Main 2019 Application Form are Personal Details of the candidates, Educational Details of the candidates, Medium of the Examination, Name, Date of Birth, State of Eligibility and Choice of Papers.
JEE Main 2019 Application Form Correction Window is a golden opportunity for the candidates who have committed any mistake in the JEE Main 2019 Application Form. This opportunity is just a one – time facility, which means, after the last date, no request for the change in any particular in the JEE Main Application Form, will not be accepted by the authorities.
After the form correction window is closed, the registered candidates will be issued the admit card for JEE Main 2019. The candidates will be able to download their admit card from December 17, 2018, onwards. The students should note that it will be available for download by online mode only. It is mandatory for the candidates to bring the print out of the JEE Main Admit Card on the day of the examination.
