Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) announced the Class 10th Result 2018 today. The result was announced at 4 PM on June 12, 2018. It released on the official website i.e. jac.nic.in. Students can visit it to view their results.
If the official website faces some technical glitches due to heavy traffic. The students can also access their result from indiaresults.com or examresults.net. These are the third party websites which also displays the result.
In order to check the JAC result of class 10th students have to visit the official website. Then they need to click on the result link present on the homepage. Afterward, enter your details such as roll number, name etc in the login window. Submit the details and your result will appear on the screen. Take out the printout of the result for future reference.
The result was speculated to release on June 9 or June 10, 2018. But it did not release due to the delay in the evaluation process.
Around 4.3 lakh students appeared for the examination which was conducted from March 8 to March 21, 2018. The examinations were conducted at 436 centers across the state. Also to ensure the transparency in examination CCTVs were installed in centers for the first time. The admit cards were issued online.
This year the overall passing percentage of the students of class 10th is 59.48%. Out of total 2,54, 830 students have cleared the examinations. 61.79% is the passing percentage of the boys where 57.29% is the passing percentage of the girls at the state level.
The Class 12th result for Science and Commerce was released earlier in the month of June 2018. Approximately 3.16 lakh students appeared for the intermediate exams. The overall pass percentage for Science was recorded at 48.34. On the other hand, 67.49 % achieved in Commerce stream.
Last year almost 4.6 lakh students appeared for the Class 10th examination. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 57.91%. This pass percentage was lower than in 2016 as in 2017 a sharp drop was experienced.
Jharkhand Academic Council is commonly known as JAC. It was established on November 15, 2000. It conducts examination for Secondary and Senior Secondary level. The aim of the council is to provide better and quality education to the students. The council also conducts various entrance exams.
