Indian Bank released the admit card for the test for recruitment to the post of security guard under sub staff cadre 2019 yesterday, at indianbank.in. The bank is going to conduct the exam for the said post on December 14, 2019.
Candidates who have applied for security guard cum peon post recruitment in Indian Bank, need to go to indianbank.in. Then click “career” link. This opens the current openings page, where, clicking “recruitment of security guard under sub staff cadre 2019” opens a section where all links pertaining to this recruitment are available.
Click the link “click here for downloading call letter for test on 14.12.2019”. Then on the next page, navigate to the login credential section. Enter registration number or roll number in first field, password or date of birth in the second. Enter captcha code in the third field and hit the login button.

Recruitment for security guard cum peon is being organized per the detailed advertisement that was released in October. For this post, there are 11 vacancies in AP, 4 in Assam, 3 in Delhi. Then there are 5 vacancies in Gujarat, 2, in Karnataka, 10 in Kerala, 8 in Maharashtra. Also there are 2 vacancies in Odisha, 4 in Pondicherry, 5 in Punjab, 3 in Telangana, 6 in UP, and 4 in WB. maximum vacancies are in Tamil Nadu, 48.

For the purpose of recruitment, there will be an online test on the second Saturday next month. The test will have three sections with 20 questions each, to be attempted in 30 minutes each. First section will be general knowledge / simple arithmetic and reasoning of 10 marks. Second will be basics of banking, of 10 marks. And third will be knowledge in security aspects of 20 marks. Answering a question wrongly will lead to deduction of one-fourth marks assigned to that question.
