The Indian Air Force Result 2021 for Group X & Y has been significantly delayed since the exam was conducted early in July 2021. The Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB) conducted the Airmen Group X & Y Phase 1 exams for Intake 01/2022 from July 12 to 18, 2021. The result of the Phase 1 exams was expected to be announced 23 days later, during the second week of August 2021, in line with the schedule of releasing results during the previous iterations of the exam. However, even with the month of September 2021 about to come to an end, there is no indication regarding the exact date of release of the result.
The results of the Phase 1 exams of Intake 01/2022 for Airmen Group X & Y of the Indian Air Force releases online on the official website airmenselection.cdac.in. The result releases through candidate login only. Registered candidates need to log in with the registered email ID and password to check the result once it is released.
As per reports, CASB has earlier intimated on the official website regarding a delay in the release of the results due to certain administrative reasons. Since then, no further updates have been released as to when the result can be tentatively expected to be released. During the previous iterations of the exam, the IAF has consistently released the result within a gap of 22 – 23 days after the conduct of the examination. However, this time is an exception with the result yet to be released online.
Candidates may note that the Phase II exams are also pending while the provisional selection list for Intake 01/2022 is scheduled to be released on the last date of October 2021. The entire selection process consists of Phase I & Phase II exams, followed by Physical Fitness Tests, and two stages of Adaptability Tests. Candidates are advised to be vigilant on the official website i.e., airmenselection.cdac.in for the latest updates regarding the release of the result online.
The IAF also releases the cut-off marks for the Airmen Selection exam online through the scorecards. The cut-off marks for the Intake 01/2022 exam are expected to release along with the release of the scorecards online. Candidates can however check the cut-off marks for the past five iterations of the exam for Group X and Group Y in the table below for reference.
