Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Delhi) have bagged lucrative jobs offers in 2020. The students have been offered 703 job offers of them, 410 are full time and 293 are Intern offers. 105+ companies made a visit for placement drive this year and 376 students were registered for the drive.
There were 296 offers were made that have CTC more than or equal to 10 lakhs. 114 offers were ranged between CTC 6 lakhs to 10 lakhs. There were 2 overseas offers and 408 Indian offers.
Coming to the highest salary offers from an Indian company it was 43.31 lakhs for B. Tech and 36.00 lakhs for M.Tech. From the overseas company the highest salary offer made was 154.79 lakhs. The average offers fro the B.tech batch stands at 16.97 lakhs and for M.Tech 16.29 lakhs. The overall average of the entire placement drive is thus, 16.63 lakhs.
In all, IIIT Delhi witnessed a total of 100% placement for B.Tech CSE and B.Tech CSM, 91.89% for B.Tech ECE, 96.58% for M.Tech CSE, 81.43% for M.Tech ECE and 61.54% for M.Tech CB.
IIIT-Delhi has a training and placement division that trains students to excel in both technical and communication aspects of the interviews. The TnP office organises PDP sessions, mock tests, and mock interviews to prepare the students for placement on the campus. Many faculty members also work as advisors who train students on how to answer the technical questions. All these activities are conducted to help the student to prepare for the day & face actual interviews with confidence.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi was created as a State University by an act of Delhi Government. The institute was established in 2008. The institute is accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and has been accorded 12-B status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). IIIT-Delhi currently has six departments and five Research Centres. The courses are offered in UG, PG, and Research level. Diploma courses are also offered at the institute.
