Recently, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India has released the timetable for the foundation, executive and professional exam to be held in the month of June 2019. ICSI has released the timetable separately for the 3 courses, over its official website i.e http://www.icsi.edu.
CS Foundation examinations are starting from June 08 and will end on June 09, 2019. The examination for CS Executive exam will begin from June 01, 2019 and will end on June 10, 2018. Candidates can check the schedule for all the examination form below:
It could be noted that while the CS Foundation exam will commence from 9:30 am onward, CS Executive and Professional exam will commence at 9:00 am onward, accordingly for candidates applying under old and new syllabus.
The syllabus has been revised by ICSI. So, all those candidates who got themselves registered under old syllabus need to appear for the exam by June 2020. After June 2020 session, all the candidates registered to appear for any of the exam levels will fall under the new syllabus of 2017.
For the foundation level, a candidate will be required to appear for 4 papers, namely business environment, business management, business economics, and fundamentals of accounting and auditing. Whereas for executive level, a candidate will be required to attempt 7 papers(as per old syllabus), and 8 papers(as per new syllabus). For professional examination, a candidate will be required to attempt 9 papers( as per the old syllabus) and 9 papers( as per the new syllabus).
Candidates who had applied for either foundation, executive and professional level will be able to download the ICSI ID Card/Registration Letter at least 3 days prior to the exam date. To download the admit card for any of the exams, a candidate will be required to enter his or her 17 digit registration number.
ICSI holds an admission test for all the eligible candidates who would like to pursue Company Secretary Course, after completion of 10+2 level. Candidates will be required to undergo 3 stages to pursue their career as a successful company secretary, namely foundation, executive and professional. Note that, a candidate who wishes to pursue this course after their graduation will only be required to go through only 2 stages( i.e executive and professional level)
