ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accounts in India) has activated the ICAI correction window for the CA December exam on the official website, icaiexam.icai.org. The candidates who have earlier applied for the examination can make ICAI CA corrections in their application form starting from October 04, to October 10, 2021.
As per the official brochure, the candidates can only edit their exam centre and medium of examination via the correction window facility. For making corrections in the ICAI CA application form, they need to log in with their ICAI details i.e. login id and password.
The correction facility is available only for a single time only and once the corrections are been done, they can’t be changed in any case. As the details entered in the application form will reflect in the ICAI CA Foundation, Intermediate, Final exam admit card hence, the candidates are advised to enter the correct details.
The candidates need to abide by the following steps to make corrections in the ICAI CA application form:
Step 1: Visit the official website of ICAI, icaiexam.icai.org
Step 2: On the homepage, find the login page on the top right side
Step 3: Next, enter the login id and password and click on the login button
Step 4: After this, on the dashboard, open the application form and make changes in the centre and medium of examination as per relevancy
Step 5: In the end, click on the final submit button and close the dashboard
After the application form is submitted, the authorities consider the changes and release the ICAI CA admit card for the examination. As per last year data, the ICAI admit card is usually released at least 14 days prior to the exam dates. The candidates have to download the ICAI CA admit card only from the official website and then take the same on the exam day.
The CA Foundation exam for the December session is scheduled from December 13 to 19, 2021. While the same for CA Intermediate is December 06 to 20, 2021 and CA Final is December 05, to 19, 2021.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts the CA exam annually at three levels i.e. foundation, intermediate and final course. The candidates who have completed their class 12th exam can appear for the CA foundation course. After this, on completion of each level, the candidate’s will be promoted to the next levels i.e. Intermediate and Final.
