Answer keys for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET 2021 exam have been released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. Candidates who have appeared for the examination can check it from the official website – cetcell.mahacet.org. While downloading the answer keys, candidates might face some glitches as the website seems to have slowed down a bit.
Nevertheless, take a look at the following steps to download the MHT CET Answer key 2021.
Step 1- Firstly, go to the official website of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra – cetcell.mahacet.org
Step 2- On the left-hand side of the screen, click on ‘MHT-CET 2021’ below the ‘Under Graduate Courses’
Step 3- Click on the three horizontal bars to find the menu option
Step 4- Now, press the ‘Click here for Answer Keys’ link
Step 5- A new window will open where candidates have to click on ‘Response Processing System’
Step 6- Enter candidate ID and date of birth and click on the ‘Sign In’ button
Step 7- Click on the ‘Response Sheet’ button in the green icon.
The response sheet contains the correct answer as well as the answer marked by the candidate. The correct answer will appear bold and slightly bigger in size while the answer marked by the candidate will be underlined. In a way, it can be said that the answer key and the response sheet are displayed together.
Now, to calculate the tentative score, it is essential to have an idea of the marking schemes. In MHT CET 2021, for subjects like Physics and Chemistry, 01 mark will be allotted for every correct answer and for Mathematics, 02 marks will be allotted for every right answer. Likewise, for the PCB group, all three subjects will have 01 mark for every correct answer. However, there is no negative marking in MHT CET 2021.
The answer keys for MHT CET 2021 were supposed to be released yesterday. However, despite a long wait, candidates weren’t able to find them as there was a delay in publishing the answer keys. Along with the response sheet and answer keys, the question papers of MHT CET 2021 were supposed to be released. As per a schedule released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, candidates can submit their grievances, objections regarding the questions (if any) using the candidate login portal from October 12, 2021 to October 13, 2021 (5 PM). The online result declaration process will take place on or before October 28, 2021 after the process is over.
