Haryana Board of Secondary Education (HBSE) is all set to declare the Results of Class 10th and Class 12th on May 20, 2018. According to the reports, the Chairman of the Board Dr. Jagbir Singh has announced the date of the result declaration. However, there is no official notice on the official website but the date is confirmed by the board officials.
Around 08,25,740 students appeared for the class 10th and 12th exams. They all will be able to check their results from the official website of Haryana Board i.e. www.bseh.org.in. First, the students will have to click the result to check HBSE Result 2018 for the Class 10th and 12th. The links will be released separately for the Secondary and Higher Secondary class but the procedure is same. To access the result, the candidates will have to Enter the valid Roll Number or Name. After checking the result, the students are advised to take the printout of the same for the future reference.
The Haryana Board Exams were started on March 07, 2018. The exams continued for 15 days. Thus the last date of the exams was March 22, 2018. In 8.25 lakhs students, around 3.83 candidates were from class 10 and 2.46 lakhs from Class 12. Approximately, 1.18 lakhs students appeared the exams of Open School from class 10 and 77,586 from 12. For the examination, there were 1,758 exam centres and for the successful commencement of the exam 334 batches of examiners were appointed.
Note that the Internet Copy of the Result will only be used for the reference only. The students will be able to collect the original Mark Sheets from their respective schools.
The Board Secretary has provided the information that the exams were cancelled in the 25 centres of Secondary Class and in 18 centres of Higher Secondary class due to some illegal actions. The board had also shifted 28 exam centres of the various districts. But the board managed all the activities and it will announce the result on the expected date.
In 2017, about 3,88,205 candidates appeared for the class 10th exams. In which 1,43,675 girls students passed in the exams and 1,75,160 boys. The overall pass percentage was 48.28%%.
Last year, 2,10,867 students sat for the Class 12th exams. 1,36,008 students passed the exams. The overall pass percentage was around 65.50% of class 12 last year which was 2% higher than 2016. Around 42,245 were asked to appear in the compartment exams. After that, the number of failed students was 30,966.
Haryana Board of Secondary Education came into existence in 1969. The headquarter was shifted from Chandigarh to Bhiwani in 1981. It regulates and supervises the education activities of the state. Year per year it is just improving the education system in Haryana. It prescribes the syllabus for Secondary as well as for Senior Secondary. The board conducts the exams and releases teh result for the same.
