Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has released the 12th Class Science Board Exam 2021 result on its official website gseb.org. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the 12th Class Science Board Exam 2021 was canceled because of which GSEB declared the result on the basis of the internal assessment and the marks obtained in the previous classes. In view of the ongoing pandemic, GSEB has passed all the candidates who have applied for the 12th Class Science Board Exam 2021. Hence, the pass percentage of the candidates this year is 100%.
About 01,07,264 candidates have applied for the 12th Class Science board exam in 2021 from various mediums. 78,045 candidates have passed the exam from the Gujarati medium which is the highest of all the mediums, whereas, 27,604 candidates have passed the exam from the English medium. 1,439 candidates have passed the exam from the Hindi medium, 117 candidates have passed the exam from the Marathi medium and 59 candidates have passed the exam from the Urdu medium.
To pass the 12th Class Science board exam, candidates need to at least have a “D” grade in all the subjects. Out of 01,07,264 candidates, 3245 candidates passed with an A1 grade. No candidate from Marathi and Urdu medium has secured A1 grade whereas, with 2,403 candidates, Gujarati medium has the highest number of candidates who secured A1 grade. The following list shows how many candidates secured which grades in 12th Class Science Board Exams other than A1 grade:
- 15,284 candidates secured an A2 grade.
- 24,757 candidates secured a B1 grade.
- 26,831 candidates secured a B2 grade.
- 22,174 candidates secured a C1 grade.
- 12,071 candidates secured a C2 grade.
- 2,609 candidates secured a D grade.
As per the statistics, with 13,733 passed candidates, Surat has the most number of qualifying candidates for the 12th class science board exam. With 7,998 qualified candidates, Ahmedabad is on the second spot, followed by Rajkot on the third spot with 7,680 qualified candidates.
Candidates who have not checked their 12th Science board exam 2021 results till now can check the results either by visiting the official website gseb.org or through SMS. To check the results through SMS, candidates can type “GJ12SSeat_Number” and send this SMS to the number 58888111. Candidates can also collect their mark sheets of the 12th Class Science Board Exam 2021 from their schools or colleges later.
