NIOS DElEd Result 2018 Announced; NIOS Students say “wrongly marked absent” in the exam

After much wait, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) announced the DElEd Result 2018. The result has been declared on August 31, 2018, for Semester 1. With the result of NIOS DElEd Result declared now, many students have been complaining that they not able to check their result or it is showing AB (Absent) in some of the subject code.

The students who have checked their result have been commenting that they appeared for a certain subject examination but in the result is showing AB. For subject codes such as 502, 501, 503, etc. This is, however, not the first time that the candidates are facing such a problem.

A group of city students, who had appeared for the senior secondary exams of the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), claims to have been facing a lot of difficulties in getting “corrections” in their marksheets. Some students alleged that they have been marked absent in some of the examinations they had taken, others were finding the “single-digit marks” they have scored “impossibly” low.

This is disappointing on the part of NIOS that the result has already been delayed a lot and now that it has been announced, it is full of errors. Furthermore, this problem has now been reported again, which means that the exam authorities were really not interested to verify the information before publishing it.

Those candidates who have been complaining that they have been scored very low in a certain subject, it is advised to them to submit a request for rechecking or revaluation. The candidates need to apply for re-checking and re-evaluation separately. Within 30 days of the declaration of result, the candidates can apply for re-checking and re-evaluation of the Answer Sheet in any subject.

However, those who are unable to check their result, it is advised to such students to keep refreshing the page. The website is not working properly, and is showing 503 Server Unavailable Error and is restricting candidates from accessing the login. The candidates in such a case should try again and again until the page opens. It will take some time but it will surely open.

Now, coming to those students who have been marked “Absent” is some of the examinations they had appeared in. It is best advised to contact the concerned authorities at their Helpline Number or on their email id. You can also apply for re-evaluation of the answer sheet and let them know that you have been wrongly marked absent in the examination.

Are you also marked wrongly ABSENT in one of the examinations in which you appeared for? Tell us in the comment section below.
