On February 06, 07, 13 & 14 this year, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay conducted the GATE 2021 exam at a national level. Reportedly, more than 8 lakh candidates registered to appear in the exam. Now that the exam is over, it is being expected that IIT Bombay is going to release the answer key & candidate response sheet soon. Based on previous year schedule of events, the GATE 2021 candidate response sheet is expected to release online tomorrow i.e. on February 17, 2021. The official GATE 2021 Answer Key is also expected to be published on the website gate.iitb.ac.in by February 20, 2021.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted by one of the Indian Institutes of Technology on a rotational basis each year. Candidates intending for admission to Master’s program in Engineering/Technology have to qualify the test. Besides, the GATE score is also utilized by various Public Sector Undertaking organisations for recruitment purpose. With GATE 2021 now over, candidates are eager to get the official answer keys from the Indian Institute of Bombay. Based on previous year trends, it is being expected that the official answer keys may be released by February 20, 2021.
IIT Bombay is also going to release the candidate response sheets. These are the response sheet of individual candidates indicating their answers in the exam. Since it is different for all candidates, therefore, the IIT Bombay releases the response sheets through candidate login.
In order to download the candidate response sheet of GATE 2021, one must login to the GATE registered account. Candidates must have the Enrollment ID and Password to log in and download the candidate response sheet.
Last year, the candidates response sheet was released three days after the last GATE exam date. The answer keys came out nine days after the last date of the GATE exam date. Based on such schedule of events, the response sheet is expected to release at gate.iitb.ac.in tomorrow. Similarly, the official answer keys are also expected to come out at the website by February 20, 2021.
Once candidates have downloaded the GATE response sheet and official answer keys, it becomes easy to predict the final score. Candidates have their own recorded answers in the response sheet whereas the official answer keys indicate the correct answers to all the questions asked in the GATE 2021 exam. By comparing one’s responses with the correct one’s, candidates can self-evaluate their answers. By using the marking criteria of GATE 2021, one can then easily estimate the final score. Candidates are advised to refer to the official website for further updates.
