Today is the last date of the GATE 2019 Application Form fill up extended period. Candidates who were unable to fill the application fee until September 23, 2018, were allowed to complete the application form submission in the extended period with a late fee of Rs. 500/-. Today is the last date of the extended period which started on September 24, 2018. Thus, candidates must complete their GATE 2019 registrations by 11:59 PM today.
It has been noted that the website of IIT Madras has updated wrong dates on the website. Thus, candidates must not be confused as the last date to apply is October 01, 2018, today. To avoid last minute rush, candidates are advised to complete the registration and application form submission well much before the deadline.
To apply for GATE 2019, candidates have to visit gate.iitm.ac.in. Those candidates who have already registered will have to complete the application process by today and those who are yet not registered must register and fill the application form before 11:59 PM.

The application fee in the extended period of GATE 2019 is Rs. 1250 for the females, SC / ST / PwD candidates. For all other candidates it is Rs. 2000.
At the same time candidates who have already completed the application process can make correction in their application form if the ‘Change Applicant Details’ button is enabled under their GATE login. The correction window is open since September 27, 2018. Candidates make correction in Name and Date of Birth, Details of Parents/ Guardian, address, college name and location, roll number and registration number, and educational details.
It is to be noted that this is the one time only chance to make correction in the application form. After this all the details in the application form will be treated as the final ones. Thus, if candidates wish to make any change in the aforementioned fields must do so before the correction window closes
IIT Madras will conduct GATE 2019 on February 2, 3, 9, 10, 2019 in two shifts. To appear in the exam, all candidates who will complete the application process today, will be issued admit cards to appear in the exam. The exam shift, date and time will be available in the admit card itself. The admit card will be available in GOAPS portal itself on January 04, 2019.
