National Board of Examinations, New Delhi has announced that the examination date for FMGE June 2019. FMGE stands for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination. It is scheduled to take place on June 28, 2019. It will be conducted on a computer based platform at various test centres across the country. The Information Brochure will be released in the month of April or May 2019 at http://www.nbe.edu.in.
According to the Screening Test Regulations 2002, an Indian citizen / overseas citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council on or after March 15, 2002 will have to qualify the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination FMGE – Screening Test.
Now, candidates must note that they can submit the FMGE 2019 Application Form at the website http://www.nbe.edu.in. They can pay the Application Fee using online payment gateways such as Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking. FMGE 2019 Application Form Filling Process is broadly categorized into 6 steps. Firstly, candidates need to register by filling the registration form and attain the login credentials namely their User ID and Password. After receiving the login credentials candidates can fill the Application Form.
After entering all the details in FMGE 2019 Application Form, candidates are required to upload the documents such as the scanned image of the photograph and signature. Then, select the test city and make the payment for the Application Form. As the last step, take the printout of the filled FMGE 2019 Application Form.
The Admit Card for FMGE will also be made available in the online mode at the website of NBE. FMGE 2019 will have 300 multiple choice questions. It will be conducted in 2 shifts and there shall be no negative marking in the examination. FMGE 2019 Examination will be divided into two parts of 150 questions each. The duration of the examination will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes. FMGE 2019 will have questions from the sections Pre and Para Clinical Subjects and Clinical Subjects.

FMGE – Screening Test is conducted twice a year in the month of June and December. It is a foreign medical graduate examination – screening test. FMGE is conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE). It is basically a screening test conducted on a computer based platform for the aspirants who want a permanent / provisional registration with the State Medical Council who earlier had a Primary Degree.
