District Rural Development Agency, Jajpur is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) in Jajpur district. Aspirants who belong to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category are eligible for the announced posts. The applications are invited for 103 posts under MNGREGS with the monthly salary of Rs.7000/-. The application procedure for Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS), Jajpur district is conducted through the offline procedure. Candidates have to visit the official website of the conducting body, download the application form and fill it as per the prescribed format. The filled application form should be submitted to the Project Director, District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Jajpur, At/Po/Dist-Jajpur, PIN-755001. The envelope which contains the application form and relevant documents shall be superscribed with Application for the Post of GRS in Jajpur District. Along with the filled application form, candidates are required to submit self-attested photocopies of 10th certificate and mark sheet, 12th certificate and mark sheet, computer proficiency certificate of ‘O’ level or PGDA, BCA, MCA, BE/BTech (IT), BE/BTech (Computer Science), Diploma in IT/Computer Science, M.Sc in Computer Science, Residential Certificate, Caste Certificate and one passport size photograph.
Only those candidates who are a resident of Jajpur district are eligible to apply for GRS post. Candidates willing to apply must note that their age should not be less than 18 years and not exceed 40 years as on June 01, 2020. They must have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualification with computer proficiency ‘O’ level or PGDA, BCA, MCA, BE/BTech (IT), BE/BTech (Computer Science), Diploma in IT/Computer Science, M.Sc in Computer Science. He/She must have to knowledge of how to use Odia Language in computer.
The selection of eligible candidates to Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) is based on the marks secured in 10+2 qualification. In case, more than two candidates have secure same marks in 10+2, the candidates who are older as per the date of birth is given preference. Further, if the tie persists, the candidate who has passed 10th standard earlier is placed above the other in the select list. The final select list is uploaded on the official website, jajpur.nic.in. Shortlisted candidates are appointed on a contractual basis for 01 year. Based on their performance and recommendation by BDO, their period of service is extended accordingly.
