Office of the Chief Medical & Health Officer, Bastar District, Jagadalpur is inviting applications to fill up vacancies for various medical and paramedical posts. The vacancies are to be filled up on a contractual basis for a period of 03 months. An official recruitment notification is published at the district website i.e. bastar.gov.in. The contractual vacancies are available for various posts such as Microbiologist, Staff Nurse and others. There is a single vacancy available for the post of Microbiologist. 20 vacancies each are available for the posts of Staff Nurse and Lab Technician. One vacancy is available for the post of Lab Attendant while 06 vacancies are available for the post of Sanitation Worker. Selected candidates are entitled to receive fixed monthly salary depending on the post.
Microbiologists are entitled to receive Rs 35000 per month. Staff Nurses will receive Rs 16000 per month and Lab Technicians will receive Rs 14000 per month. Lab Attendants are entitled to receive Rs 12000 per month and Sanitation workers are entitled to receive Rs 8000 per month. However, candidates must be at least 18 years old as on January 01, 2020, in order to apply. In addition, candidates must possess the specified minimum educational qualifications in order to apply for the recruitment.
For the post of Microbiologist, an M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology or M.Sc. in Microbiology with 02 years of experience in Medical Diagnostic is required in order to apply. Candidates having a B.Sc. Nursing or GNM qualification along with necessary registration with CG Nursing Registration Council are eligible to apply for the post of Staff Nurse. Those who have a BMLT & DMLT qualification and registration with CG Paramedical Council are eligible to apply for the post of Lab Technician. 12th pass candidates who have studied Biology as a subject and have 02 years of experience are eligible to apply for the post of Lab Attendant. 8th pass candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Sanitation Worker.
