Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently concluded the Class 10 and 12 Term I board exams for the current academic year 2021-22. The term 1 results will be announced soon on the official portals cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. However, instead of waiting for the results, students are wondering about the Term 2 exams. In accordance with the two-paper-pattern adopted by CBSE, Class 10 and 12 students have to give two board exams – Term I and Term II. While the Term I board was entirely objective in nature, students need more clarity about the Term 2 exams. Here’s all they need to know –

# CBSE Class 10 and 12 2021-22 term 2 Date & Time

As per official reports, the CBSE Term 2 board exams are likely to be conducted during the March-April 2022 period. Most papers will be held for a duration of 120 minutes. However, the exact date sheet and timetable for Class 10 and 12 are yet to be released. Once released, students will get to know the exam dates on the official website cbse.nic.in.

# Both Objective & Subjective Learning

The CBSE Term 1 Board Exams 2021-22 were entirely objective in nature for both Class 10 and 12 students. Reportedly, however, the Term 2 board exams will cover both objective and subjective questions. Moreover, students who have sincerely attended online lectures will have an advantage over others. Special emphasis and importance have been given to classroom lectures headed by teachers.

# Two Types of Sample Papers for Term 2

As per several news reports, CBSE will be releasing two types of sample papers for both Class 10 and 12 Term 2 board exams 2021-22. These sample papers will be in the format given below –

Sample Paper 1: 100% Subjective in Nature

Sample Paper 2: 100% Objective in Nature

The subjective sample papers shall comprise of 2-5 mark questions but only in the case of main subjects. Moreover, a new set of questions will also be present in the paper, testing the knowledge, conceptual clarity, and critical thinking of each student.

CBSE is in the process of releasing the Term 2 sample papers for both Class 10 and 12. Once released, students can access the same from the official portal cbseacademic.nic.in.

# Type of Questions to Expect in Term 2 paper

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 2021-22 term 2 paper will most likely cover theoretical questions which are case-based, situation-based, short-answer long-answer, and open-based. Students will get more clarity on this once the sample papers are released.
