CBSE Files FIR Against Convict Spreading Fake News of Paper Leaks

On Wednesday, the Central Board of Secondary Education has filed an FIR against miscreants for spreading news of paper leak. For this information, the CBSE Board has also released a notice on its official website i.e. cbse.nic.in on March 06, 2019. In the notice, CBSE mentioned that there are several pieces of news of the paper leak of Accountancy, Geography, Chemistry, English, Mathematics, and Science. The fake news has been spread on YouTube. The news claims that the question papers were available prior to examinations. However, the board has totally declined this news and stated that the papers being shown on these sites have been scrutinized and have been found to be fake.

Also, in the notice, it is mentioned that the board has already filed an FIR against those channels and also requested the Delhi Police in writing to take suitable action against them. The actions can be taken under provisions of IPC and IT act so that the board can conduct the rest of the examinations smoothly.

The CBSE Board exams of class 12 started from February 15, 2019. So far, the board has conducted the exams of 136 subjects.

In order to conduct the examinations in a smooth manner, the board has taken several measures. CBSE found some of the fake cases of the paper leak which was spread to point the questions on the board and to create panic and confusion among the students. But the board has stated that these news are 100% fake and the immediate actions have been taken against them.

Also, the board has instructed the students and parents to not to believe the false news of the availability of the question papers prior to the examinations.

The students of class 12 started to appear for board exams from February 15, 2019. The last exam is on April 04, 2019. The last exam is of Philosophy, Entrepreneurship, Human Rights and Gender Studies, Theatre Studies, and Library & Info Science. The timing is from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

For class, the board exams began on February 21, 2019. The last exam is on March 29, 2019. The first and the last exam is e-Publishing and e-Office and Social Science respectively. The timing is all the same for class 10 and 12 i.e. from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Once, the exams will be finished, the candidates will search for the results. The students may expect the result in the fourth week of May 2019. Last year, the result was announced on May 29, 2018. So, this year, the CBSE 10th Result 2019 is expected to be released accordingly.
