CAT (Common Admission Test) result 2021 is expected to be released in the upcoming days by IIM Ahmedabad. The examination for the same was conducted on November 28, 2021 however even after one month there is no buzz regarding the result. As per leading reports, this year around 1.92 lakh candidates have appeared for the CAT examination.
Earlier, the speculations were high that the result for CAT 2021 can be declared anytime on January 01 or 02, 2022. However, owing to the new year celebrations now reports are suggesting that the convenor may announce the result between January 02 to 05, 2022. Several Youtube channels have also been reporting that it may happen that the convenor follows last year timeline and release CAT results accordingly.
These speculations have been made on the basis of the past year dates data compiled by the educators and coaching classes. However, in the absence of any official announcement, these are mere speculations and it is advisable to keep a tab on the official website for all the latest updates. Once the result for CAT 2021 has been announced the names of the candidates who are shortlisted for WAT and PI will be announced in the last week of January 2022. Post this, the candidates will be called to appear in the counselling round that is supposedly expected to commence in February 2022. The final selection for CAT 2021 admission shall be released by April 2022.
IIM always releases the CAT result on the official website, iim.cat.ac.in and candidates have to check their result by entering user id and password on the login page. Additionally, it sends the result along with the scorecard to the registered mobile number and email id of the candidate. This scorecard shall be valid only till December 31, 2022, and post that candidates who fail to get admission in any B-School will have to appear for the examination freshly.
