Some students are claiming that they are able to check their percentile in CAT 2018. Using the technical skills, candidates can now unofficially check the result. Though the IIM Calcutta has denied such reports.
CAT 2018 Login was also inactive yesterday. When it got active around afternoon, candidates could check the percentile using the programming skills. After a few hours, login was again inactive. So looking at the frequent changes on the website. It is expected that IIM will correct the loophole soon and release the result in one or two days.

Stpes to check the CAT 2018 Percentile
So, to check the percentile first visit the official website of CAT 2018. Then, on the homepage of the website, click on the “Login” button and enter your User Id and Password. Now, after entering the login details, right-click anywhere on the page and click on View Page Source.
Next, press Ctrl + F and search for “SCORECARD“. It is written inside CDATA brackets. Look for another CDATA bracket a few lines above it, and the candidates will get their percentile.
Candidates can check their exam percentile and can verify the same when the scorecard releases. It will publish on the official website using the login credentials. It will contain the sectional and overall scores in the exam. Also, sectional percentile will also be available. Apart from clearing the overall cut-off, it is important to clear the sectional cut-off for admission to top-b-school of India.
Once the exam result announce, IIMs will release the list of selected candidates on their official website. IIM Ahmedabad is usually first to release the shortlist. Candidates who are interested in admission to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) MBA can fill the application form. It will release the next day of the CAT result.
