Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has released the official schedule for two important nursing exams – PPMET 2021 and PPBNET 2021. PPMET stands for Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test whereas PPBNET stands for Punjab Post Basic Nursing Entrance Test (PPBNET). Official schedules for both exams have been uploaded on the official website bfuhs.ac.in. Accordingly, the registration process for both exams have already begun on the official website. Candidates are permitted to complete all the registration formalities latest by August 20, 2021. Thereafter, the last date to pay the application fee is August 21, 2021. BFUHS authorities are going to conduct the PPMET 2021 examination on August 29, 2021, through the OMR-based offline mode. Interested and eligible candidates must fill the online application form on or before August 20, 2021. Thereafter, the last date to pay the prescribed application fee is August 29, 2021, up to 4:00 pm.
Candidates who have successfully completed all the online application formalities can download their hall tickets from the official website bfuhs.ac.in from August 25, 2021, onwards. The exam is all set to be conducted on Sunday, August 29, 2021. According to the PPMET 2021 prospectus, authorities are likely to announce the results latest by August 31, 2021.
BFUHS authorities have also specified the schedule for the first round of the PPMET 2021 online counselling session. Accordingly, qualified or appeared candidates must submit their college preferences from September 01 to 07, 2021. This must be done using the online portal. Thereafter, seats shall be allotted on the basis of merit and candidate preferences latest by August 10, 2021.
Candidates who have been allotted seats must visit the college and complete the remaining formalities on or before September 18, 2021. These formalities include verification of documents, medical check-ups, deposition of fees using the online gateway, etc. In turn, authorities have to submit the list of candidates who have not reported to college, were ineligible or who surrendered their seats by September 20, 2021. Schedule for the second round of counselling shall be notified in due course of time.
In the case of PPBNET 2021, the examination schedule is similar to the one specified for PPMET 2021. Even the application formalities and counselling schedule for the first-round remain the same. Therefore, to apply for either one of the exams, students must pay Rs.3540 as application. However, SC category candidates must pay Rs.1770 as application fee through the online mode.
