State Level Police Recruitment Board, Guwahati, Assam has published the results of Assam Police Sub Inspector recruitment 2020. Assam Police SI (UB) 2020 result of the written test held on November 22, 2020, is available online at the official website slprbassam.in. Candidates who appeared in the test can check the results and scorecard at the SLPRB website by logging in with the Roll Number and Date of Birth. The details of further selection stages are to be intimated by the Board in due course of time.
SLPRB advertised vacancies for 130 Sub Inspector (Un-Armed Branch) earlier in 2018. The number of vacancies were subsequently revised to 597. For shortlisting of the eligible applicants, the Board conducted the written exam on November 22, 2020. The results of the written exam are now available through direct links activated at the official website of the SLPRB. Candidates who have qualified in the written test have to go through the Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test for which, the date and venue will be intimated later.
Assam Police SI (UB) Result 2020 can be downloaded from the website by logging in with the Roll Number of the applicants and their Date of Birth. The direct links to get the result are available on the homepage of the official website. Candidates are redirected to the login page after clicking on the links where they have to enter the Roll Number and Date of Birth in designated fields and open the result/scorecard by clicking on “Download”.
SLPRB releases the results in the form of Score Card and merit list of shortlisted candidates. The shortlisting is done on the basis of cut-offs determined by the Board at their discretion. SLPRB has also published the category-wise cut-offs for the written exam which can be downloaded from the direct pdf link available at the website. For General category Male candidates, the cut-off has been fixed at 44.50 marks. For the same category, the cut-offs marks are 34.50 for female candidates. Similarly, cut-offs for all the categories of General (EWS), OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(H), ST(P) are also available at the website.
Those who have qualified in the written test have to now appear in the PST and PET stages for further selection. It is mandatory to pass these tests where candidates have to qualify by complying with the minimum physical standards as specified by the Board for recruitment to the post of SI (UB). In addition, candidates also have to qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test by participating and completing certain physical exercises as determined by the Board.
