Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) 2022 was held across the state, on May 29, 2022, in the OMR-based pen-and-paper mode. Although an official result date has not been announced, the information brochure provides a tentative date. Accordingly, candidates can expect their results to come out by June 10, 2022. They will be announced through the online mode, on the official website polycetap.nic.in.
To qualify the AP POLYCET 2022 entrance exam, candidates need to score equal to or more than the qualifying marks. Only after doing so will they be eligible to seek admission in Polytechnic institutes in Andhra Pradesh.

AP POLYCET Results 2022 Qualifying Marks
As per the information brochure, candidates are expected to score at least 30 marks out of 120, to qualify the AP POLYCET entrance exam 2022. This figure is only applicable for unreserved candidates. There is no minimum qualifying figure for SC and ST categories.

All those who qualify the AP POLYCET 2022 exam will be assigned a rank, based on which the candidate will be selected for admission to polytechnic courses offered within the state. On the date of result announcement, each candidate will be issued a separate rank card through the online mode.
AP POLYCET Results 2022 Tie-Breaking Process
In case two or more candidates secure the same AP POLYCET 2022 score, a tie-breaking process will be implemented to assign a unique rank to each candidate. In this tie breaking facility, marks scored by each candidate in Mathematics will be considered.
If the tie continues to persist, Physics scores shall be taken into consideration. Finally, ranks will be assigned on the basis of date of birth, if the tie persists. Older candidate will be assigned a higher rank in the AP POLYCET 2022 merit list.
