XAT 2019 Registration Begins on August 20; Know How to Apply Here

XLRI Jamshedpur has started XAT 2019 Registration, on August 20. The registration window is open until November 30, 2018. The form can be filled to participate in the selection process of XLRI and other associated 150+ b-schools. The exam will be held on January 06, 2019, for admission in the academic year 2019-21.

For XAT 2019 Registration candidates need to visit the official website, xatonline.in. The fee for the form is Rs 1700/-. In addition to that, candidates interested in XLRI programmes have to pay Rs 300/- for each course. In case a student misses the deadline then he/she can still register for the exam after paying the late registration fee. It is Rs 2000/- for the form and Rs 500/- for each XLRI Programme.

Candidates who have completed their graduation with minimum three years duration are eligible to apply. Final year students can also apply for XAT. For such aspirants, the admission will be provisional until the final year mark sheet is submitted before the specified dates.

Aspirants who have decided to fill the XAT 2019 Application Form must keep the important documents ready to fill the form smoothly. Documents such as past year academic certificates scanned photograph & signature, work experience details etc will help to complete the registration process quickly.

The exam conducting body has also released the guidelines for uploading scanned photograph & signature. The photograph file size must be 20kb-50kb and 10kb-20kb for signature. The dimensions must be 200 x 230 pixels and 140 x 60 pixels for photograph and signature respectively. Keep the file format in only JPG/JPEG extension and prefer white background for images.

The XAT Registration 2019 is a five-step process. First of all, candidates have to register with a valid email id, phone number, name, country, and date of birth. Secondly, fill the application form by entering details such as personal, academic, contact, programme preference, and work experience details.

Candidates must remember you can edit the XAT exam city details preference only once before November 30. In the third process upload the photograph and signature in the specified format. Following that pay the application form via credit card/ debit card/ net banking. In the last step, take the print out of application form and fee receipt as a registration confirmation.

The XAT Application Form can be filled in multiple sessions. So, fill the form calmly and submit it after checking at least twice. Moreover, once the registration fee is paid, you will not able to change any data in the form. In case you find a lot of delay in accessing the page, then refresh the page or wait for another wait for 10 minutes until traffic on the website goes down.

After the successful registration, applicants will able to download the admit card from December 20, 2018. It is important to carry XAT 2019 Admit Card with a colored photograph pasted on it and photo identity proof on the examination day. In addition to that, keep the XAT admit card safe until the completion of admission process.

For XAT 2019, the exam will consist of 4 sections comprising English Language and Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. The number of questions is not confirmed, we can expect that 100 questions will come that need to completed in 180 minutes. This year we saw many changes in XAT 2019 exam such that change in exam cities, removal of essay writing section etc.
