Candidates who are aspiring for MBA admission in 2019-21 must not miss the deadlines of major national level exams. The application for two of the important exams naming Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) and Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is closing within the next three days. Candidates must apply to these exams according to their interest and the b-schools they are targeting. For XAT 2019, the last date is November 30, 2018, without late fee. In a similar manner, the registration for Paper-based MAT (December session) ends on the same day. Whereas registration for computer-based MAT is ending on December 07, 2018.
The XAT examination will conduct on January 06, 2019. So, interested candidates must not delay further and register before the last day. Candidates who will miss the deadline have to submit the application with a late fee which is INR 2000 + INR 500 (programme fee) instead of INR 1750/- + INR 300/- (programme fee).
Since only a few days has been left, candidates must ensure that they fill all the details in the form. XLRI does not open the application correction window to edit the form. Though this year candidates can request a change in exam city latest by November 30, 2018.
Once the form submission is over, the exam conducting body will release admit card on December 20, 2018. Candidates will need XAT login details in order to download the hall ticket. It will be available until the exam day. Clearing this exam will help take admission to not only XLRI but also other 150+ b-schools in India.
MAT examination takes place four times a year and its scores are valid for 1 year after the declaration of result. So, in order to take admission in the academic year 2019-21, candidates can apply for MAT 2019 December, February, and May session. For the December session, the registration will over soon. The difficulty of this exam is quite easy so, targeting this exam can help to get into good management colleges.
Candidates who want to apply for February session can register from December 08, 2018.
Candidates who want to appear computer-based December MAT exam has 7 days more to register for the exam. The admit card for both the modes will release on separate dates. For the pen and paper to be held on 09 December, the admit will release on 01 December, 04:00 PM onwards. Following the same fashion, for the computer-based to be held on 15 December, the admit card will be available on 10 December.
