Xavier School of Management has announced the dates for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2018. The application for the XAT will start from August 16, 2017, and will end on November 30, 2017. The Xavier Aptitude Test is going to be held on January 7, 2018. Xavier School of Management will conduct the test on the behalf of XAMI. Registration for XAT will be an online process. Interested candidates will be able to apply for the test from the official website of Xavier School of Management. The management has introduced some changes in XAT 2018.

This time the Xavier Aptitude Test will be conducted through online mode, this means there will be a computer based test for the examination. The time of the Test has also changed by the Xavier School of Management. Earlier the candidates were given 3 Hours and 30 minutes to complete the test. But now from this year onwards, candidates will be given 3 hours and 35 minutes to complete the test.

The management has also added the offline payment mode to submit the application form. Candidates who shall apply for the examination will now be able to submit the application fee through online mode. However, the online mode payment of the application fee remains the same. This is a great news for the candidates who find difficulties in paying the application fee through online mode. The offline payment mode will be done by generating the e-challan that will be submitted along with the application fee in the IDBI bank. The application fee in the offline mode will be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft (DD).

The centres of the test are same as the last year. No changes have been done in the centres of the examination. XAT will be held in 47 cities as well as in two international cities that include Dubai and Kathmandu.The details regarding the Xavier Aptitude Test have been published on the official website of Xavier School of Management. Candidates who wish to apply for the test may read all the instructions regarding the application form and examination from the official website.

To register for the XAT, candidates must have a valid email ID and mobile number on which the provision XAT ID number and password will be sent. The applicants are required to pay a prescribed amount of registration fee while submitting the application form. The XAT registration fee is Rs. 1650/-. If the candidate wishes to apply for the XLRI programmes then he or she needs to pay an additional fee or Rs. 300/-.
