Do students get bonus marks for incorrect questions and/or answers is that question which arises next. As to that, there are no written rules, at least not available in public domain. However NTA makes it clear in its information brochure that all challenges against JEE Main 2019 answer key are looked into, and results shall only be as per final answer key.
An old article by a reputed news daily, dated April 2015 on Wrong Question In JEE, says that in that year CBSE (earlier CBSE used to conduct JEE) awarded bonus marks for wrong question / answers.
As per it, if a question was wrong, or no option was correct, then all students got bonus marks of +4. If a question had more than one correct answer, and if candidate had answered any one of those, then that candidate would have got marks.
Decision of National Testing Agency (NTA) in this regard shall be final and binding. Students whose claims are found correct shall get their fee refunded.
NTA JEE Main 2019 Result will be announced by 31 Jan 2019 at jeemain.nic.in. It will only be on basis of final answer key decided by National Testing Agency.
