West Bengal Public Service Commission has released admit card for ICDS 2019 exam today. Download admit card link has been activated at pscwbapplication.in. Candidates who had applied against advertisement no 8/2019 can now obtain their exam hall tickets from the official website.
To download ICDS admit card 2019, login can be done either with enrolment number, and date of birth. Or with first name and date of birth. The fact that enrolment number is not mandatory for login has made it easier for a lot of candidates who have misplaced or forgotten their enrolment number. As long as the correct spelling of first name, same as entered in application form, and date of birth in the right order is entered, login is successful and corresponding candidate’s admit card is downloadable from there on.
WBPSC ICDS Supervisor 2019 exam will be held on September 1. Initially the exam was supposed to be conducted on August 11. However the board had to postpone due to undisclosed reasons. This exam would be a preliminary test for the selection process.
Preliminary exam will be a one hour long multiple choice test with 100 questions of 100 marks. There will be questions on general knowledge, arithmetic, test of reasoning. WBPSC is conducting the exam at Alipurduar, Asansol, Balurghat, Bankura, Barasat, Barrackpore, Baruipur, Berhampore, Chinsurah Burdwan, Cooch Behar, Darjeeling, Diamond Harbour, Howrah, Jalpaiguri, Jhargram, Kalimpong, Kolkata (North), Kolkata (South), Krishnanagar, Malda, Medinipur, Purulia, Raiganj, Siliguri, Suri, Tamluk in West Bengal.
Applicants of the WBPSC ICDS Supervisor recruitment 2019 have to, for obtaining admit card, go to pscwbapplication.in and click on the “click here” link provided just under the message “Examination For Recruitment to the post of Supervisor (Female only) of ICDS,2019 Under the Department Of Women & Child Development & Social Welfare ,Govt. of West Bengal(Advertisement.8 / 2019)” in the admit card section. This takes them to pscwb.ucanapply.com admit card download page of PSC, WB and has the above stated two options for login.
After the successful conclusion of the exam, WBPSC will publish list of candidates who can appear in next part, that is mains exam. The mains exam will be of 400 marks, with 100 marks questions each in four papers. The four papers in mains will be english, bengali / hindi / urdu / nepali / santali, general studies and current affairs, arithmetic. Each paper will be of one and half hours. The mains will be followed by viva voce.
WBPSC recruitment 2019 for ICDS lady supervisors is for 2,954 vacancies. There are 1,475 vacancies for UR, 650 for SC, 178 for ST, 296 for OBC A, 207 for OBC B, 89 for PH, and 59 for meritorious sportsperson. The notification and application form was released on March 14 this year, and registrations closed on April 16. Now, after a four months gap, the admit card for the exam has been issued and is being shortly followed by conduct of the prelims.
