The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) was held on April 23, 2017. It was conducted by WBJEE Board to fill seats in Engineering, Architecture, and Pharmacy colleges in West Bengal. The answer key of the exam was published on May 29, 2017, and through it a lot of candidates checked their answers and predicted the score. Now, the Board has released the official result and candidates can know their actual score and rank.
The WBJEE result 2017 has been announced on wbjeeb.nic.in. The students can check by visiting the official website and entering the Application Number and Password. For better reference, follow the steps below:
- Go to wbjeeb.nic.in
- Click on ‘WBJEE 2017 Rank Card’.
- Enter Application Number, Password, and Security Pin.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Check and download the result of WBJEE 2017.
The rank and the score of the candidates have been mentioned result. The Board has released two rank list, which are GMR and PMR. The GMR has been prepared on the basis of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics score and is for Engineering and Architecture course. Whereas, the PMR has been prepared on the basis of score in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The PMR states the merit of Pharmacy aspirants.
The candidates are required to download the result displayed on the screen. It will be used as the rank card, which will be required during the counselling and document verification round.
The counselling of WBJEE 2017 be held in the 3rd of the 4th week of June. Even the JEE Main qualifiers will be allowed to participate in the counselling round. During the counselling, the seats will be allocated to the eligible candidates on the basis of rank.
The JEE Main qualifiers will be granted admission on the basis of JEE Main 2017 All Indian Rank and the admission to WBJEE qualifiers will be granted on the basis of GMR or PMR.
