West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board is going to commence the registrations for WBJEE 2021 tomorrow i.e. February 23, 2021. The Board will accept applications for online registrations till March 03, 2021. Subsequently, the online application form correction will commence on March 24, 2021. Candidates will be allowed to make specific corrections in the online application form till March 26, 2021. The entire procedure of online registration and application is conducted at the official website i.e. wbjeeb.nic.in. WBJEE 2021 is scheduled to be held on July 11, 2021 in two shifts.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam is the gateway to admission to Undergraduate programs in the Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy courses. How to apply for WBJEE 2021?
In order to apply online for the West Bengal JEE 2021, candidates have to visit the website wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates can see the direct link to apply online for the exam at the homepage of the website. At first candidates have to register online at the website by filling up the online registration form. Candidates must enter their name, parent’s name, gender, domicile, date of birth etc. on the online application form. Candidates must note that these information cannot be modified during the online form correction stage.
Once the registration is completed, candidates are issued an application number. Using the application number and the password set during the registration, one can log in to fill up the application form at a later stage before the last date. On the other hand, after successful registration, candidates can click on the Complete Application Form tab to fill up the application form.
After filling up the application form, candidates are required to proceed to upload scanned images of specified documents with the online application form. Candidates have to upload scanned images of latest passport-sized photograph & signature on the online application form. Once the uploading process is done, candidates are required to pay the application fee online.
For WBJEE 2021 registrations, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 (and other banking charges). For SC/ST and OBC A/B candidates, the application fee amount is Rs 400.
Documents required to apply for WBJEE 2021
While candidates have to fill up the application form by uploading scanned images of the recent passport-sized photograph & signature, certain supporting documents must be referred to in order to fill up the form correctly.
For example, candidates must refer to a valid government-issued photo identity proof to enter their name, date of birth etc. correctly. Candidates must have an active mobile number & email ID to register online. Candidates also need their educational qualification certificates to fill up relevant details correctly. Once a candidate has filled up the application form, they must always verify the information once, before submission.
