The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has officially extended the last date to apply online for the WBJEE 2021 exam. As per an official notice released by the Board today at wbjeeb.nic.in, the last date to submit online applications for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2021 is now extended to March 30, 2021 till 06.00 PM. Registered candidates will be able to make corrections on the submitted online application form from March 31, 2021 to April 02, 2021. WBJEE 2021 is conducted for admission to B.E, B.Tech and B.Pharm programs in institutes of the state. The state level examination is scheduled to be held on July 11, 2021 from 11.00 AM to 01.00 PM and 02.00 PM to 04.00 PM.
The Board released the official notification of WBJEE 2021 earlier in February 19, 2021. Eligible and aspiring candidates were invited to register online at the official website and fill up the application form by paying the requisite fee from February 23, 2021. Earlier, the last date to register and apply online for WBJEE 2021 was March 23, 2021 till 05.00 PM. However, as per the latest notice of extension, eligible candidates can now apply online till March 30, 2021.
How to Register & Apply Online for WBJEE 2021?
Candidates aspiring for admission to BE/B.Tech and B.Pharm programs on the basis of WBJEE 2021 rank have to register and apply online at the official website i.e. wbjeeb.nic.in as per schedule, on or before the last date. Now that the last date to apply online has been extended officially, those who are yet to fill up the application form are advised to hurry up and apply online without waiting for the last date.
On the homepage of the website, candidates must select WBJEE from the top dashboard and then click on Fill WBJEE 2021 Registration Form. From the window that opens up, candidates have to fill up the registration form by clicking on the New Registration button. Once the registration process is successful, candidates receive notifications on the registered mobile number/email ID indicating the Application Number & Password.
Registered candidates can proceed to fill up the application by logging in with the Application Number & Password. On the application form, one must fill up the remaining details, choose their preferred zones of examination and click on Submit after carefully verifying the correctness of the information.
Candidates must upload their photograph & signature on the application form as per specifications indicated in the official notification. Scanned images of the photograph & signature must be in the JPG or JPEG format. In addition, candidates must also ensure that the file size of the images are within the maximum (and minimum) limit.
After filling up the application form and uploading the necessary documents, candidates are redirected to the Payments page. General candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 500 (and other bank charges) in order to apply. Those who belong to SC/ST and OBC-A/B categories, have to pay a fee of Rs 400 (and other bank charges).
